Break Bulk and Fuel
About Break Bulk
CentrePort provides facilities and services for a broad range of bulk, conventional and roll-on/roll-off cargo. This includes logs, vehicles and cement, and other cargo like steel, and other specialised goods.
Our port provides forklifting, marshalling and vehicle storage services, including a Ministry of Primary Industries-approved car and machinery cleaning facility. We have log storage both on port and at our inland depot at Waingawa.
Bulk Fuel
Our Ferries and Bulk team manage our assets for fuel discharge located at Seaview, Aotea Quay 3 (AQ3) and Burnham wharf in Miramar.
Seaview is New Zealand’s main connection for fuel up into the lower Taranaki, Hawke's Bay regions and as far north as Ohakea airbase, and is rated as the second most critical asset in terms of Wellington Lifelines.
Burnham Wharf services fuel for Wellington Airport, and AQ3 is the fuel berth for the Interislander and Bluebridge ferry fleet.
